Admiral Ackbar- Mon Calamari admiral. Ackbar led the rebel fleet at the Battle of Endor.

Anakin Skywalker- Jedi Knight. Father of Luke and Leia. Anakin trained under Obi Wan Kenobi to become a Jedi, but he eventually turned to the dark side. He became the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader.

Artoo Detoo- astromech droid who was very helpful to the rebel alliance. His counterpart is the protocol droid See Threepio.  Artoo only speaks in beeps and whistles and needs Threepio to translate for him.  Artoo carried the stolen Death Star plans and delivered them to Obi Wan Kenobi.  He often accompanied Luke in his X-wing. Artoo flew with Luke in the Battle of Yavin, accompanied him on Dagobah, and helped the rebel troops on the forest moon of Endor.

Bail Organa- Princess Leia's adopted father. He was a senator and a prince of Alderaan. He died on Alderaan when it was destroyed by the Death Star.

Biggs Darklighter- Luke's best friend from Tatooine. Luke and Biggs were both good pilots and wanted to go to the academy. Biggs got to go, Luke had to stay behind to help his Uncle Owen with the farm. While at the academy Biggs decided to join the rebel alliance and returned to Tatooine briefly to inform Luke about it. Just before the Battle of Yavin Luke and Biggs met up again in the hangar at the rebel base. Biggs flew in the attack against the death star and was killed by Darth Vader.

Boba Fett- bounty hunter who wears the armor of the Mandalore warriors. Fett was the one who tracked Han Solo to Cloud City, and delivered Solo to Jabba the Hutt.

Chewbacca- 200 year old Wookie and copilot of the Millennium Falcon. Chewbacca accompanied Solo and all of his adventures and was a big help to the rebellion.

Darth Vader- Anakin Skywalker after his fall to the dark side.  Vader was the Emperor's main agent.  He helped to hunt down and kill the Jedi.  Vader was a symbol of evil and feared by all throughout the galaxy.  He helped oversee the construction of both of the Death Stars.  One of Vader's main quests while serving the Empire was to destroy the Rebel Alliance.  Around the time of the first Death Star, Vader captured the Princess Leia Organa who he believed was one of the rebel leaders.  He took her aboard the first Death Star and tortured her to try and get her to reveal the location of the hidden Rebel base.  She would not reveal the location, however.  When Vader failed to get the location out of her Tarkin destroyed the world of Alderaan.  Shortly after this Obi Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and the rest of the gang were captured.  Solo and Skywalker managed to rescue the princess and escape, but Kenobi was killed in a confrontation with his former student.  The Death Star tracked the rebels to their base on Yavin.  The rebels attacked the Death Star in an attempt to destroy it.  When it became apparent that the Rebels might actually succeed Vader took to his personal TIE Fighter and killed many of the pilots.  He nearly managed to kill Skywalker, but at the last moment Han Solo returned and Vader's ship was damaged and sent spinning off into space. The Death Star was destroyed. Vader managed to get his TIE fighter under control, however, and managed to return to the Empire.  During the next few years Vader searched the galaxy for the rebels and for Luke Skywalker in particular.  Then three years after the Battle of Yavin, Vader discovered the rebel's base on the ice world of Hoth.  A bloody battle ensued but many of the rebels managed to escape.  Luke Skywalker managed to evade the fleet and go to the swamp planet Dagobah.  Han Solo, Princess Leia, and the rest aboard the Millennium Falcon were not that lucky.  Vader sent the fleet in pursuit of the Falcon, hoping to capture Skywalker's friends to use as bait to lure Skywalker in..  The Falcon managed to evade capture and escape to Cloud City, but the Empire had figured out where he was going and was there ahead of him. Vader tortured Solo and encased him in carbonite.  Soon after Skywalker arrived to save his friends. Instead he ended up dueling with Vader.  Luke had learned much in his Jedi training and was a good match for Vader, but eventually Vader ended up slicing off Luke's hand. At this point Vader revealed that he was Luke's father. Luke did not want to believe this and jumped into the deep shaft they had been fighting above.  Luke was rescued by his rebel friends.  Vader followed in his Super Star Destroyer and almost captured the rebels but at the last moment the Falcon escaped into hyperspace and Luke and the rebels were safe for a time.  Around this time construction on the second Death Star had begun and Vader was forced to put his search for Skywalker on hold as he oversaw the construction.  When the Death Star was in appearance still under construction, but in reality fully operational, the Emperor arrived.  This was part of the Emperor's plot to lure the rebel fleet to the Death Star and then destroy the rebels.  Luke was part of a small rebel group which was sent to destroy the shield generator so the rebel fleet could blow up the Death Star. By this time Luke had already been told by Yoda and Obi Wan that Vader was indeed his father.  So when Luke felt Vader's presence above Endor he allowed himself to be captured.  He confronted his father and said that he knew there was still good in him.  Vader denied this and turned Luke over to the Emperor.  The Emperor told Luke that he would turn to the dark side.  The Emperor kept goading him but Luke remained calm.  Then the Emperor revealed his evil plot to destroy the rebels.  Luke became angry and took his lightsaber and tried to strike down the Emperor.  Vader ignited his lightsaber and stopped Luke.  Then the two dueled.  Eventually Luke stopped fighting and hid, refusing to fight anymore.  Vader started goading him, trying to get him to fight.  Then he read Luke's thoughts and discovered that Luke had a sister.  He said that he would turn her to the dark side.  Luke became angered and struck out at his father.  He fought furiously and ended up slicing Vader's hand off.  When Luke saw that he was turning to the dark side he threw away his weapon and stood up to the Emperor.  The Emperor decided that Luke would die if he would not turn to the dark side.  He began electrocuting him.  Luke cried out to his father, who was still weak from the duel.  The good side of Vader returned and he picked up the Emperor and threw him to his death.  Luke would recover but Vader was dying.  Luke dragged him to the shuttle bay.  Vader asked his son to remove his mask and Anakin Skywalker looked upon Luke for the first time with his own eyes.  He told Luke that he was right about him, then he died.  Luke carried his body to the forest moon and burned his body. Anakin Skywalker died in the light side of the Force.

Emperor Palpatine- Formerly a senator in the Old Republic. When the Republic was crumbling he managed to get himself elected President promising to save the Republic. Once in power he declared himself Emperor and the Empire rose from the ashes of the Republic. With the help of Darth Vader he managed to kill off most of the Jedi. When he discovered that Vader's son Luke Skywalker was training to become a Jedi, he ordered Vader to find Skywalker and bring him before the Emperor. Vader finally brought Skywalker to the Emperor on the second Death Star. The Emperor tried to turn him to the dark side, but failed. When the Emperor realized that Luke would not turn to the dark side, he tried to kill him. Vader stepped in and saved his son at the last moment and hurled the Emperor to his death.

Grand Moff Tarkin- Imperial leader. Commanded the first Death Star. Destroyed the planet of Alderaan to demonstrate the power of the Death Star. He was killed when the Death Star blew up over the fourth moon of Yavin.

Greedo- Rodian bounty hunter sent by Jabba the Hutt to collect money from Han Solo. After a confrontation in the Mos Eisley Cantina, Solo killed Greedo in self defense.

Han Solo- Corellian. Solo is the captain and owner of the Millennium Falcon. He won the ship in a Sabaac match with Lando Calrissian. His copilot is the Wookiee Chewbacca. Han Solo was a smuggler, working for crime lords like Jabba the Hutt. He had to dump a load of Kessel spice when Imperials boarded his ship. Jabba was angry and wanted to be paid for the spice. Solo kept putting him off, but got lucky when Obi Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker showed up looking for passage to Alderaan and offering to pay 17000 credits. Han met up with Jabba and promised that he would pay him back with a little extra. Jabba agreed but warned that if he didn't pay him back he would put a large price on his head. Solo took Kenobi and Skywalker and their two droids to the Alderaan system but when they arrived they found the Death Star and no Alderaan. Solo helped Skywalker rescue the Princess Leia Organa and escape from the Death Star. While the rebels planned the attack on the Death Star, Solo appeared to leave, planning to pay back Jabba. At the last minute he returned and saved Skywalker, allowing Skywalker to blow up the Death Star. Over the next three years Solo stayed with the Rebellion, never getting around to paying back Jabba. He was about to head back and pay Jabba when the Empire discovered the Rebel base on Hoth. When Princess Leia was cut off from her transport, Solo took her out on the Falcon. The hyperdrive would not work and the Falcon ended up being chased by the whole Imperial Navy. During this time Leia and Han began to realize that they were in love. Eventually Solo was able to trick the imperials and get away from them, managing to travel to the Cloud City on Bespin which was being run by Solo's old friend Calrissian. Unknown to Solo the Empire had already arrived at Cloud City and Vader forced Calrissian to betray his friend. Solo was encased in carbonite and taken away by the bounty hunter Boba Fett to Jabba, but not before Leia admitted her feelings for him.. In the meantime Calrissian had had a change of heart and helped Leia and Chewbacca escape, and missed rescuing Han by seconds. Over the next six months or so Solo was kept in the carbonite and delivered to Jabba, being displayed on his wall. Then Skywalker, Leia, Lando, Chewbacca, and the droids all managed to get into Jabba's Palace one way or another and Solo was released from the carbonite and rescued.  When they arrived back at the rebel fleet, Solo allowed himself to become a general.  At this time the rebels had just discovered that a second Death Star was in construction, and Solo volunteered to lead an assault on the shield generator on the moon of Endor. Destroying the shield generator would give the fleet a chance to destroy the Death Star.  After a battle with the imperials, Solo and his group managed to destroy the shield generator and the fleet was able to destroy the Death Star. Han and Leia redeclared their love for each other and celebrated the victory over the Empire.

Jabba the Hutt- Hutt crime lord.  Jabba put a large price on Han Solo's head after Solo repeatedly failed to repay the hutt for a shipment of spice he dumped. Eventually the bounty hunter Boba Fett delivered Solo to Jabba. Solo was encased in carbonite and Jabba liked him that way so he hung Solo on his wall. When Solo's friends came to try and bargain for his life, Jabba refused. He made Princess Leia his slave and tried to feed Luke to the rancor. When the rancor was killed, Jabba was furious and declared that Luke, Han, and Chewbacca be fed to the sarlacc.  The heroes managed to turn the tables and killed off Jabba's guards.  Jabba himself was killed by Leia when she strangled him with her chain.

Lando Calrissian- gambler and smuggler. Lando is a friend of Han Solo. He used to own the Millennium Falcon until losing it to Han in a game of Sabaac. He managed to become the baron administrator of Cloud City. This was where he was when Han Solo, came to him for help in hiding from the Empire.  Before Solo arrived however, the Empire had already been there.  Darth Vader forced Lando to trick Solo and his friends into believing they were safe, then turn them over to the Empire.  Lando was not happy about the deal but he did not really have any choice so he agreed.  Vader kept changing the deal however and after Han was encased in carbonite Lando decided to help them escape.  He freed Leia and Chewbacca and together they went to try and save Han but the bounty hunter Boba Fett had just left.  Lando then helped them get to the Millennium Falcon and they took off.  They were almost away from the planet when Leia said they had to go back to save Luke.  They rescued Luke.  They barely managed to get into hyperspace.  They returned to the rebel fleet.  Lando and Chewbacca set off to find Han.  Several months later they had located him at Jabba's palace.  Lando got himself a job as a guard at the palace.  When Luke, Han, and Chewbacca were sent to be executed Lando was one of the guards on the skiff and nearly fell into the sarlacc while battling with the other guards. He was saved by Han and they all escaped.  Lando then went back to the rebel fleet with the others.  He became a general and volunteered to lead the attack on the second Death Star.  Lando was responsible for convincing the rebel fleet to continue the battle to destroy the Death Star after they realized it was a trap.  Lando delivered one of the shots that destroyed the Death Star.  He barely made it out of the exploding Death Star, but he made it and returned to Endor to celebrate the defeat of the Empire.

Leia Organa- Princess and Senator.  Leia is the adopted daughter of Bail Organa.  She grew up on Alderaan.  She became one of the youngest Senators in the Imperial Senate.  In secret she was one of the leaders of the Rebellion.  One of her early assignments in the rebel alliance was to intercept stolen plans for the Death Star and bring them to the alliance leaders.  Before she could complete this task however her ship was attacked by a Star Destroyer under the command of Darth Vader, who suspected Leia of being a rebel.  Leia hid the plans in the droid R2-D2 and ordered him to find Obi Wan Kenobi on the planet Tatooine below.  She was then captured by Vader and brought aboard the Death Star where she was imprisoned.  Vader tortured her to try to get the location of the Rebel base.  Leia would not divulge the information.  Grand Moff Tarkin threatened to blow up Leia's home world of Alderaan if she would not reveal the location.  Leia gave the name of a world, which later turned out to be false, but Tarkin blew up Alderaan anyway, killing most of Leia's family and friends.  She was then returned to her cell.  Soon after this the Millennium Falcon was captured by the Death Star.  When Luke Skywalker saw that Princess Leia was one of the prisoners he came up with a plan to rescue her.  Luke, Han Solo, and Chewbacca rescued the princess.  They then escaped the Death Star and went to the fourth moon of Yavin.  The rebels analyzed the Death Star plans and came up with a plan to destroy it.  Leia waited in the command room as the battle took place.  Luke succeeded in blowing up the Death Star with a little help from Han.  Leia presented Luke, Han and Chewbacca with medals in a ceremony to celebrate the destruction of the Death Star.  The Empire was still very powerful however and the rebels soon had to flee from Yavin.  The next three years the alliance spent evading the Empire. Unknown to Leia Jabba was secretly watching.  He sent Han to the dungeons and made Leia his slave.  Leia was the one who killed Jabba with her chain during the escape from his sail barge.  After escaping Leia and the others, except Luke, returned to the rebel fleet.  There the rebels were planning an attack on the second Death Star.  Unknown to Leia Han had allowed himself to be appointed general and had volunteered to lead an assault on the shield generator on Endor.  When Leia learned of this she was very proud of Solo and volunteered to be part of his team.  They traveled to Endor.  On Endor Leia got into a speeder bike chase with stormtroopers.  During the chase she crashed and got knocked unconscious.  When she came to, she discovered the young Ewok Wicket and befriended him.  He lead her back to the Ewok village.  A little while later Luke, Han, Chewbacca, and the droids were brought to the village.  Luke, Han and Chewbacca were to be dinner in honor of Threepio.  Despite pleas from Leia the Ewoks were still going to eat them until Luke used the Froce to scare the Ewoks.  After listening to Threepio tell their story the Ewoks decided to help the rebels fight the imperials.  After this Leia observed Luke leaving.  She followed him and he revealed to her that she was his sister and that Vader was their father.  Leia was shocked.  She begged Luke not to go to Vader, but he said he had to, and he left.  The next day the rebels and ewoks got into a big battle with the Empire's forces.  The Ewoks and rebels beat the Empire and managed to blow up the shield generator, which allowed the Rebel fleet to blow up the Death Star.  Leia and Han redeclared their love for each other and happily celebrated the Empire's defeat.

Luke Skywalker- Jedi Knight. Luke was raised on the desert world of Tatooine on a moisture farm owned by people he thought were his aunt and uncle, Owen and Beru Lars. His life was not that exciting and he dreamed of joining the Imperial Space Academy and leaving Tatooine. He enjoyed racing his T-16 and became an excellent pilot. When he asked about his father he was told that he was a navigator on a space freighter. His best friend Biggs joined the Academy but Luke was forced to stay behind to help with the farm. One day Biggs returned to Tatooine and told Luke that he was secretly going to join the rebellion.  Luke became more restless and wanted to leave even more.  Soon after this he and his Uncle bought the two droids R2-D2 and C-3P0 from Jawas.  While cleaning artoo Luke discovered part of a message from Princess Leia to Obi Wan Kenobi.  He wanted to hear the rest of the message so he took off R2's restraining bolt and went to dinner. He asked if his uncle knew who Obi Wan Kenobi was, but his uncle became angry and wouldn't answer him. After dinner Luke returned to the garage to find out that R2 had run off.  The next morning Luke and threepio went to find him. They found him, but were attacked by sandpeople. They were rescued by Ben Kenobi, who revealed that he was really Obi Wan. At Obi Wan's home artoo played all of Princess Leia's message which revealed her need for help. Obi Wan told Luke that his father was a Jedi, gave him his lightsaber, and told Luke that he had to go with him to Alderaan. Luke refused to go to Alderaan, claiming he had to stay and help his Uncle. While driving Obi Wan to the spaceport, they came upon a burning jawa sandcrawler. Luke realized that it was the one that had sold him the droids and realized that his Aunt and Uncle were in danger. He raced home only to find the farm burning and the burnt skeletons of his Aunt and Uncle. Luke returned to Obi Wan and said that he wanted to go to Alderaan and wanted to become a Jedi.  At Mos Eisley Luke and Obi Wan hired the smuggler Han Solo to fly them to Alderaan.  During the flight Obi Wan began to instruct Luke in the ways of the force.  When the Millennium Falcon arrived where Alderaan should be, they found nothing but the Death Star.  The ship was captured.  While on the Death Star Luke discovered that the princess was also there and came up with a plan to rescue her.  The princess was rescued and the Millennium Falcon escaped, but not before Obi Wan Kenobi was killed in a lightsaber duel with Darth Vader.  Luke was enraged and started killing all the stormtroopers in sight.  Then he heard the voice of Kenobi, telling him to run and he did.  The Falcon then escaped the Death Star and traveled to the Rebel base on the fourth moon of Yavin.  The Death Star followed them, but the rebels had analyzed the Death Star plans and found a possible way to destroy it.  Luke, Biggs, Wedge, and the rest of the Rebel pilots went into battle to destroy the Death Star. Most of the pilots were killed, including Biggs.  Throughout the battle Luke heard the voice of Kenobi telling him to use the Force. Luke was almost killed by Vader in a TIE fighter behind him, but at the last moment Han Solo returned and knocked Vader out of the fight.  This allowed Luke to use the Force and fire the shot that destroyed the Death Star.  Luke became a hero and received a reward from the Princess Leia.  Then over the next few years the rebels traveled throughout the galaxy evading the still powerful Empire. Luke became a commander and lead his own squadron.   On the ice world of Hoth while Luke was scouting out the area he was attacked by a wampa ice creature and scarred badly.  He managed to escape the wampa's cave by using his lightsaber on the wampa.  There was a blizzard outside and it was very cold and Luke could not make it that far.  While lying in the snow he saw a vision of Obi Wan who told him to go tot he planet Dagobah to learn from the Jedi Master Yoda.  Then Han Solo found Luke and built a shelter where they stayed the night.  The next morning a rebel pilot found the two and took them back to base.  Luke spent some time in a bacta tank and was healed.  Soon after this the rebels discovered that the Empire knew where they were.  They began to evacuate.  The Imperial fleet arrived.  Luke lead his squadron in the Battle of Hoth against the AT-ATs.  Luke crashed his ship but managed to get back to his X-wing and escape.  He then went to the planet Dagobah as Kenobi had told him.  When he arrived his ship crashed into the swamp.  He then met a little annoying green creature who told him he could lead Luke to Yoda.  Luke went with the creature but became annoyed and impatient with the creature.  The creature began talking to Obi Wan's voice and Luke eventually figured out that this creature was Yoda.  He then begged Yoda to train him. Yoda reluctantly agreed.  Over the next few weeks Luke learned the ways of the Force.  At one trial Luke went into a cave and confronted a vision of Darth Vader.  Luke chopped off his head and the face mask split open to reveal Luke's own face.  Another exercise had Luke lifting objects with the force.  Then he tried to raise his X-wing, but could not do it, saying it was impossible.  Yoda used the force and raised the ship.  Luke was shocked.  He learned much on Dagobah.  One day while meditating he saw visions of the future where his friends were in danger.  Yoda said he could not see their fate.  Luke tried to go on with his training but could not forget about his friends.  He left the planet to save his friends, promising to return to complete his training and to be careful of the dark side.  When he arrived at Cloud City he ended up meeting with Darth Vader.  They dueled.  Luke was good, but Vader sliced off his hand.  Then Vader revealed that he was Luke's father.  Luke did not want to believe this and jumped down a deep shaft to escape Vader.  Luke ended up hanging from the bottom of Cloud City.  He cried out to Obi Wan but got no response.  He then tried calling to Leia.  Leia aboard the Millennium Falcon and escaping Cloud City heard his cry and returned for Luke.  They managed to get into hyperspace before the Imperials could capture them.  When they were back safe at the fleet, Luke was fitted with a robotic hand.  Several months later Luke and the others went to Jabba's palace on Tatooine to rescue Han. Just before this he made his own lightsaber in Obi Wan's hut using materials he found there. Then Luke tried to bargain with Jabba but Jabba didn't want to give up Solo and dropped Luke into the rancor pit.  Luke killed the rancor and Jabba was very angry.  He declared the Luke, Solo, and Chewbacca would be fed to the sarlacc.  Just before Luke was to be pushed into the pit, R2 launched Luke's lightsaber into the air, Luke jumped up and got it, then began slicing up Jabba's guards.  They all managed to escape and Jabba's barge was blown up.  Luke then returned to Dagobah while the other's joined up with the fleet.  Luke hoped to complete his training but he found a dying Yoda.  Yoda said that Luke knew all he needed to and that all he had to do was confront Vader.  Luke asked if Vader was his father and Yoda said that he was.  He then said there was another and to pass on what he had learned. Yoda then died.  A sad Luke then went out to his ship.  Obi Wan appeared to him.  Luke was angered that Obi Wan didn't tell him Vader was his father.  Obi Wan said that Vader was now completely evil and no longer the good man that he once knew.  Luke then asked about the other Yoda had mentioned.  Obi Wan said that the other was his sister.  Luke realized that his sister was Leia.  He then left to return to the fleet.  When returning he discovered the rebels planning an attack on the second Death Star.  He volunteered to join Solo's group to destroy the shield generator on Endor.  While on Endor he got into a speeder bike chase with stormtroopers, and levitated Threepio so as not to get eaten by Ewoks.  He then told Leia that she was his sister and Vader was their father and that he had to go confront him.  Luke then went and got captured by stormtroopers.  He was brought to his father.  Luke told Vader that he felt good in him. Vader denied there was any good in him, and brought Luke before the Emperor.  The Emperor tried to turn Luke to the Dark side but failed.  Then he told Luke that the Death Star was fully operational and that the rebel fleet and all Luke's friends were going to die.  Luke became angry and tried to kill the Emperor.  Vader stopped him with his lightsaber and the two dueled.  Luke then realized he had let his anger take control of him and stopped fighting.  He hid from Vader.  Vader tried to make him start fighting again and read his thoughts.  He discovered Luke had a sister.  Vader said he would turn her to the dark side and Luke became furious.  They dueled again and this time Luke cut off Vader's hand.  Luke then saw that he was becoming like his father and threw away his weapon.  He declared that he would never turn to the dark side.  The Emperor became angry and started electrocuting Luke with lighting from his hands.  Luke cried out to his father for help.  Vader picked up the Emperor and hurled him to his death.  Vader then had Luke unmask him and he told Luke that he was right and there was good in him.  Vader then died.  Luke took a shuttle from the Death Star just seconds before it exploded.  He landed on Endor and burned his father's body.  The last of the old Jedi and also the first of the new returned to his friends and celebrated the victory over the Empire.

Nien Nunb- Sullustan pilot. He was Lando's copilot during the Battle of Endor.

Obi Wan Kenobi- Jedi Knight who was trained by Yoda. Kenobi was a general who served in the Clone Wars. He met the young Anakin Skywalker and saw how strong the Force was within him. Kenobi decided to train Anakin as a Jedi, thinking he could teach as well as Yoda. Unfortunately Anakin turned to the dark side. He became Darth Vader and helped destroy the Jedi. Kenobi helped hide Anakin's two children from him. He hid Leia on Alderaan with Bail Organa, and hid Luke on Tatooine with his brother. Then for the next twenty years or so he remained in hiding on Tatooine, waiting for the right moment to inform Luke of his destiny.  His wait was finally over one day when Luke came out into the desert in search of R2-D2.  When Luke was attacked by Sandpeople Obi Wan saved him.  Obi Wan took Luke back to his home and informed him that his father was a Jedi.  After Princess Leia's message was played Obi Wan told Luke that he must learn the ways of the Force and come with him to Alderaan.  Luke refused but after his aunt and uncle were killed decided to accompany Obi Wan and become a Jedi.  Kenobi hired the Millennium Falcon to take him, Luke and the droids to Alderaan.  During the journey Obi Wan began instructing Luke in the ways of the Jedi.  When the Falcon was captured by the Death Star, Kenobi was the one who disabled the tractor beams to allow the Falcon to escape.  Before Kenobi could return to the ship he ran into his former student Darth Vader.  During a lightsaber battle Kenobi allowed himself to be killed by Vader.  His body vanished.  Yet this was not the end of Kenobi.  Luke heard his voice during the Battle of Yavin.  Then on Hoth Luke saw a vision of Kenobi instructing him to go to the planet Dagobah and learn from Yoda.  After this Luke talked with Kenobi many times.  One of these times was after Yoda's death.  Kenobi told Luke about his father and his sister, and gave him advice for his upcoming meeting with Vader and the Emperor.

Owen Lars- Tatooine moisture farmer. Luke Skywalker lived with him and his wife for about the first 20 years of his life. Luke thought that Lars was his uncle, but Lars was really Obi Wan Kenobi's brother. Owen and his wife were killed by imperial stormtroopers who were in search of the droids R2-D2 and C-3PO.

See Threepio( C-3P0) -protocol droid.  He is Artoo Detoo's counterpart and often travels with the small astromech droid. Since Artoo only speaks in beeps and whistles See Threepio translates for him.  Threepio is also fluent in over six million forms of communication.

Wedge Antilles- Corellian pilot. Piloted an X-wing for the Rebel Alliance. He flew in the Battle of Yavin and even saved Luke Skywalker's life. Due to damage to his X-wing Wedge had to leave the fight. He was the only rebel pilot besides Skywalker to survive the battle. He stayed with the Alliance over the years and served in the Battle of Hoth, taking down the first AT-AT. At the Battle of Endor Wedge lead his squadron and others against the second Death Star.  Wedge as always fought excellently and had many kills.  When the shield came down, he went into the Death Star and delivered one of the shots which helped destroy it.

Yoda- Jedi Master who lived on the swamp planet of Dagobah. His species is unknown. Yoda trained Jedi in the ways of the Force for over 800 years and was over 900 years old himself. He trained Obi Wan Kenobi as a Jedi. His last student was Luke Skywalker. He died shortly after informing Luke that once he confronted Vader he would be a Jedi.

Zev-  rebel pilot who rescued Han Solo and Luke Skywalker on Hoth.  He was killed at the Battle of Hoth.
