don't obstruct vision.
*Stay behind barricades for safety.

Parade ladders must be stationed as far back from the curb as
they are high
*Ladders may not be placed in a street or an intersection.
*Do not tie ladders together or leave
children alone on them.
*Do not climb trees or utility poles
to get a better view.
*Don't attempt to cross the street
while marching bands are passing.
*It is forbidden to drink from metal or glass containers.
*It is illegal to throw anything at a float or rider.
*It is illegal to toss throws from French Quarter balconies

car will be ticketed or towed for these violations.)
Park along a parade route 2 hours before or after a parade
Park in the wrong direction
Block a sidewalk
Park too close to a fire hydrant, crosswalk or driveway.
*Portable potties are placed along the parade routes, but may be
hard to find. Make plans ahead of time.
