All minister PROFILES will be available to every Southern Baptist Church, Agency and Institution

An exciting new feature included in our basic membership is the publication of a products catalogue, The Classic Connection. The Classic Connection will be sent to 42,000 Southern Baptist churches. As a member of Southern Baptist Ministers Staffing Service you can advertise your ministries and products in The Classic Connection at no additional cost.

A Southern Baptist Ministers Staffing Service Consultant works closely with you in designing your PERFECT PORTFOLIO.

1. Complete enclosed Member Profile. This information will be entered into the SBMSS Data Base allowing us to match your information with churches looking for ministers with your qualifications.
2. Mail current resume. Your resume and any attachments will be sent to churches on your behalf. If you do not have a current resume we will prepare one for you (at no additional charge). If you would like us to prepare your resume please send appropriate information. We will send you a proof prior to sending it out to churches etc.
3. Attach any additional information you would like presented to churches. Examples: Letters of reference, philosophy of ministry, letters explaining specific situations, etc. Attachments are not required. We rely on the minister to provide what is appropriate to their situation.
4. Mail the one time enrollment fee of $75.00. You can use a credit card if you wish. We accept: Visa, Mastercard, Discover and Diners Club.

1. Data processing enters your information into the SBMSS Data Base.
2. Your resume (along with attachments as discussed above) will be presented to 5 to 10 churches that match the preferences you listed on the Profile. Usually this takes 5 working days.
3. A letter will be sent to your informing you where your resume was sent. This will be the case every time your information is sent out.
4. Every 2 to 3 weeks your information will be presented to 5 to 10 churches. This will continue until you tell us to either slow down or stop. In some cases your information will go out more often depending on church requests. If you would like to be considered by a particular church, please inform our office and we will send your information to that church within 24 hours.
5. Once you have accepted a call at a church please inform our office. We will place you in our inactive files until you call to re-activate your file.

Notes:

1. SBMSS relies on the minister and church to determine God's calling in each situation.
2. SBMSS cannot guarantee a minister will be called to any particular church.
