Ruth Gau Logan

Ruth Gau Logan: Ruth, now a happily assimilated American citizen is a native of Taiwan. After serving as a civilian employee with the United States Navy in Taipei she moved to the States. For the past ten years she has worked with the immigrants as the Registration Liaison for the East Baton Rouge Parish School System. Fluent in Taiwanese and Mandarin (as well as English!), Ruth has empathy for and understands the personal and housing needs of the many new immigrants coming to the United States in general and Baton Rouge in particular. Ruth, who attended LSU, has one daughter, Michele Kao, a 1991 LSU marketing graduate and a son, Michael Sean, currently attending LSU on a Leadership Scholarship. Ruth's hobbies include cooking, traveling and golf.
